  • This Wednesday November 5th, Algoma University's Anishinaabe Initiatives is hosting Woodland Style: An Oral and Visual History told by Ocean Kiana @ocean.kiana 🌸 Ocean is a Nishinaabe designer and artist, and an alumni of Algoma University. 🌸 Students, staff, and community members are all invited to learn about the indigenous culture and sustainable innovation that Ocean Kiana embodies in her mission and work. Please join us in the library from 2:00pm-3:00pm. Students will still have access to the quiet floor and certain sections of the main floor, but we ask that you work quietly to be respectful of this event. 🤫 Thank you!
