AU Staff and Administrators

The following applies to all full-time and part-time staff

1. All staff must be currently employed by Algoma University  and in possession of a staff identification card with the appropriate validation.

2. All staff must present their staff cards for all library transactions.

3. Staff may borrow from the general collection for a 21 day period.

4. Staff may have loans of books renewed for an additional 21 day period as long as:

a. the books have not been requested by another library user;

b. the loans have not been renewed before (only one renewal is permitted), and;

c. the books are not overdue.

5. Staff may renew books over the phone (705-949-2101), at the Circulation Desk or through the Library Catalogue as long as none of the above conditions apply.

6. Staff with library debts outstanding will be identified on the Library Delinquent List (see Fines and Holds for more information).

Staff members whose names appear on the Library Delinquent List

 

1. Willl have their borrowing privileges suspended until all outstanding library debts are paid.
